ArrivalTravel Informations:The wonderful Country Hotel is located about 20 minutes from the airport and train station(salzburg). The Hand in Hand against Tay-Sachs Association will pick you up from the airport ortrain station and will bring you to the hotel so you can check in and drop your luggage off.After check in, the Hand in Hand Association will bring you to the promenade of lakeMondsee, where you can either go for awalk or have a wonderful boat trip on lakeitself (it lasts about 1hour). As a group, wewill do the boat trip together at around5pm.When everyone has arrived in Mondsee, we will have awonderful dinner at the restaurant called „Krone“from6pm. We will then spend our time with some greatfood and get to know one another! After the dinner weget picked up and taken back to the hotel which isabout 5 minutes from Lake Mondsee.

Hotel InformationsThe wonderful Country Hotel is located about five minutes from the village of Mondsee. Thenearest hospital is only 20minutes away whilethere is an emergency station only five minutesaway.For those of you attending the conference wewill book the number of rooms your require. Allwe need is for you to let us know how manychildren and adults will be coming with you.The rooms we will be booking are all suites.

Hotel InformationIf there are activitys that you don‘t want to attend you can spend sometime with SPA in the hotel: Make your face the gift of one of the many facial treatments available. Activate the cell renewal process of your skin and effectively fight small wrinkles. You will do your body a real treat with a whole body peeling or an algae bodypack. Precious oils and essences will result in a perfect, peach like skin fromhead to toe. One of the many themed baths will be simply perfect for you, for sure. Whetheryou prefer Evening Primrose Oil Crème baths, a Cleopatra bath, Rose PetalBeauty baths or a Lavender Blossom bath. Perfect hands and toes are the results from the handsand feet care programme at Hotel Eichingerbauer. If you want to remove annoying hairs from your body? Hair removal and depilation with warm waxapplied by a professional will do the trick. On top of that you have a number of additional treatments to choosefrom: eyelash tinting, make up or deep facial cleansing are just a few tobear in mind. You can enjoy some massage or visit the Sauna and steam bath

Lecture DayOn Sunday 29th October you will have the opportunity to hear a very interesting presentation about the research into Tay-Sachs by Professor Cox. Jürgen Lueger will present information about alternative medicine and there will also be presentations about the European Tay-Sachs Charity Consortium (ETSCC) and the different charities who are members including The CATS Foundation and the Hand in Hand Association. We also hope tohear from Kim Crawford Kubilus from the NTSAD.There will be regular breaks during the day and we will all be supplied with coffee andother drinks. As there is a kitchen near to the conference room it will be possible to warmfood for children.During the presentations healthy children are invited to havefun with Daniela Krenn who will plan activities for thechildren. After a very informative day all the men are invitedto join in a men‘s poker night! This will give them all the chance to catch up, get to know one another and discuss howyou deal with your child‘s disease or the loss of a child. Youcan have some drinks and fun while playing poker or othergames!

Creative DayFor Monday 30th October we have planed a creative day.This will include a „Creating Memories Workshop“ withNadja Leeb, to create wonderful andlasting memories of your children andbeautiful photo albums. You will have thechance to make a fingerprint from yourchild in silicon, and Nadja will create jewelry, made from pure silver, for you, andwill ship it to your home a few days afterthe conference once everything hasbeen produced.Grieving Parents will have the opportunityto create candles for their loved ones, which we will burnat the candle lightning ceremony. During the creating memories workshop the photographer Afra Hämmerle-Loidl will arrange a photo shoot forthose families who would like to take part.

Creative DayGriefing Parents: Please bring your favourite Photo from your loved one in a frame withyou!! In the late afternoon we will let beautiful balloons fly,to send a sign to our loved ones in Heaven, follwed bythe Candle Lightning Ceremony,witch will be hold inour Church "Basilika Mondsee" from our Pastor Mr. Wageneder. (Please email us a few pictures of your loved ones in heaven, we will create aPhotoslideshow or a poster.)After Dinner we celebrate Lady‘s Night! All Ladys are invitedto have a great night in the Village Mondsee, spend sometime with drinking cocktails in „Barra Cubano“ a great Bar,or visit other Bars in the Village!

Wellness DayOn Tuesday the 1st October we will have a very relaxing Day! Youwill have the opportunity to recharge your batteries in the beautifulspa, swim in the heated pool, or to enjoy some cuddles with yourloved ones in the whirlpool!After Lunch you will have the opportunity to meet Karin Schiesserand Susanne Bogner from Vienna, who will offer you the opportunity to learn more aboutspiritual healing work. They will provide single healing sessions, or you can join a groupsession. Don‘t be afraid it is very relaxing!In the afternoon you can visit Mondsee, go for awalk, visit Salzburg, or make a sightseeing flight withWolfgang Irran, Eva‘s Dad.Afternoon is free time and you can do whatever youwant! In the evening we will watch together the film„Parenting a Child with Life-Limiting IllnessCaring, Coping, Surviving“

Departure DayOn Wednesday the 2nd October is time to say goodbye.After a wonderful breakfast you have about 1,5 hours time to pack your luggage andcheck out.Hand in Hand against Tay-Sachs will bring you to the airport or trainstation.If you have a later flight or train we will spend time together, visit Mondsee or Salzburg, ifyou want!For those Familys who want to stay longer: You are invited to stay as long as you want, tothe same special „Conference“ conditions! A vacation in Mondsee is very fine, there aremany great things you can do, just ask Eva about details!Good bye!
